Enhancing brake performance during initial bedding-in application
BRAKVE brake pads have the CEO R90 certified, which means similar braking performance as OE.
Whenever the pads are changed, the full performance is not achieved in the initial braking. This phenomenon happens due to the pads are not yet bedded-in the brake disc surface.
The friction coating is a thin layer of abrasives and other components that are applied on the outer friction surface of the brake pad. It provides nominal friction level reached since initial breaking, helps in the disc cleaning, improving the friction efficiency, avoids the need of bed-in procedure, enabling the vehicle to leave the workshop straight to work. This layer exhausts out in a dozen of brake application, enough to achieve full friction material performance.
